For Advt. 01/2026 — Mining MT (GATE-2025 Route):

BPSC prepares a merit list based on GATE-2025 marks, and shortlisted candidates appear for Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME). No interview stage exists for this route.
For Advt. 03/2026 — Multi-Discipline MT (CBT Route):
Stage 1 — Computer-Based Test (CBT), July 2026:
An online objective test of 200 marks in 3 hours comprising two sections — General Aptitude (Reasoning, Numerical, English) and Discipline-specific Technical Knowledge. Only the CBT determines shortlisting — there is no personal interview in the CIL MT 2026 CBT-route selection process.
